Natural newborn photography session at home in glasgow

One of the first things I noticed when visiting the home of Daniela, Jamie, and their two boys was the beautiful garland spelling out “Love” which hung in the living room over the couch. The garland was handmade by Daniela’s mother in Canada and was an apt decoration for this family of four who were overflowing with happiness after welcoming their youngest addition four weeks earlier.

Sibling love

Big brother was so excited to show off his trucks and train sets, and his very own camera which he snapped as I used mine. It is a special experience watching interactions between an older sibling and a newborn; the elder becoming more and more accustomed to the new little presence in their life while the little one has never known a day without their sibling around.

Peaceful newborn moments

I also witnessed a few quiet moments between Daniela and the baby as she went over to the kitchen to feed him and he snuggled to sleep on her chest. That beautiful brief era when their whole tiny body can fit there perfectly.
